Electrocardiogram (ECG)

An ECG (electrocardiogram) is made when monitoring surgical patients. It is also used for diagnosing heart problems in dogs and cats. An ECG measures the rate and electrical conduction of the heart without any discomfort to your pet. The ECG’s that are made in case of heart problems are sent to a cardiology specialist for interpretation.
