Mandatory registration of your dog in the Netherlands

When you move with your dog to The Netherlands, it is mandatory to have your dog registered in The Netherlands. After your own registration, you have received a BSN (Civilian Service Number). This can be used to apply for a DigID (Digital Identification for communication with the Dutch Government).
With this DigID, you can apply for a UBN (number to register as dog-owner) with the following link:
You choose login with DigID, and apply for the UBN. Please take this UBN to the appointment at the clinic, and we can take care of the registration at the Dutch Database and issue a European pet passport. You will receive a confirmation.
