Piet Hellemans Waarnemend Dierenarts

I am Piet Hellemans, I grew up in Amsterdam and I graduated in 2006 as a veterinarian. In addition to office hours, general surgery and dentistry, I enjoy working with birds and reptiles. I go abroad several times a year to neuter and sterilize stray dogs and cats. I can call myself an ambassador for several foundations committed to animal welfare at home and abroad, such as DierenLot, Amsterdam Animal Ambulance, House of Animals, Kitten Rescue Curaçao, Wings for Animals and Verhuisdier.nl.
As a regular substitute, I regularly work at Dierenkliniek de Wetering, I also present various animal programs at SBS6, I write for Vrij (De Telegraaf) and various magazines and websites.
